Welcome to A Woolen Affair!  We're so glad you're here.

 

A Woolen Affair is a very special, relaxed, intimate and fun gathering the Friday before our beloved NY Sheep & Wool Festival. It is a celebration of all things wool...the growers, the sheep, the millers, the spinners, the dyers, the designers, and all of the makers who love wool.  We have an amazing fiber community and this gathering is for all of you.  It is a place to connect, to enjoy each other, maybe meet someone new, have fun, eat, listen to music, and knit or crochet through all of it!  A Woolen Affair strives to provide a welcoming and inclusive gathering where everyone feels at home.  

 

No gathering is complete without a full musical lineup and you can be sure we will have a cast of amazing artists joining us at A Woolen Affair.  We will have several food trucks and a full bar.  We will also have a Mistress of FUN who will be there to make sure you all laugh throughout your stay.

A Woolen Affair was founded in 2023 by Catherine Clark of Brooklyn General Store.  In 2023, her friends at Knitrino, mYak Fibers and La Bien Aimee collaborated together to create a beautiful evening.  This year, there will be more vendors and more food and more fun!  We can't wait to see you!
